The journey of a message: who actually knows?
Publish an announcement on Monday at 9:00 and watch who receives it, hour by hour. Set your headcount, your sites and your shifts.
In many companies, a large share of employees have no work email. Information reaches them through notice boards, team leaders and word of mouth: slowly, and not for everyone.

How the model works Illustrative model, not a measurement
- The announcement is emailed from headquarters on Monday at 9:00. Site managers pass it on during office hours (8:00–17:00), with a delay that grows with the number of sites. The notice is posted 1 to 5 hours later.
- Employees with a work email read it after about 2.5 office hours on average; 8% never open it.
- Employees without email hear it at shift start from their team leader (1 time in 2 on the first shift, 1 in 3 at night, less afterwards), see the notice 1 time in 5, or hear it from colleagues. About 2 days off in 7.
- With WE, 85% of frontline and 95% of office employees have the app (QR code or secure token). A notification is read within the hour at work; off shift, just over half read it before their next shift. The others see it on a shared kiosk or get a targeted reminder from their team leader, thanks to read confirmations.
